On 16 June, the GDC's annual renewal window opened for dental care professionals to renew their registration and pay the annual retention fee (ARF).
You should have already received a letter from the GDC explaining how to renew so that you can continue to remain on the GDC register. The easiest way is to use eGDC, (the GDC's online portal) where you can make the ARF payment, declare your indemnity and update your CPD hours (if required). You can also use eGDC to update your personal details.
Payments and declarations should be made by midnight, 31 July 2017.
It's important to renew your GDC registration on time. If you fail to do so, you will no longer be able to practise and will be removed from the register. This could also affect your DDU membership.

Dental professionals will not have to provide proof of indemnity, unless asked to do so.
