Dr Susan Tanner
Specialist in prosthodontics, dental implant reconstruction

MRD RCS(Eng) MSc BDS(Lon) Dr Susan Tanner is a specialist in prosthodontics and dental implant reconstruction, and a founding partner of the Dawood and Tanner Specialist Dental Practice. After qualifying she held various positions in maxillofacial surgery, conservative dentistry, children's dentistry and orthodontics as well as providing prosthodontic treatments for patients within the maxillofacial department. This was followed by a master's degree and acceptance onto the specialist register, and she has over 25 years' experience in the field of implant dentistry. She is a past trustee and ardent supporter of the charity 'Saving Faces', The Facial Surgery Research Foundation, and as well as teaching courses for the Dawood and Tanner Academy, she champions the cause of implant dentistry amongst female dentists as a founding member of the British Women's Society for Implant Dentistry.
