Will there be adverse publicity if I have a claim made against me?

There's a possibility of media interest in a claim if the damages are likely to be significant, or the case is already high-profile.

If this happens, your claims handler will tell the DDU press office, who'll be able to advise and support you.

If you're approached directly by a journalist, don't respond to them and contact our press office.

For more information, see our separate guide on dealing with the media.
