Will there be adverse publicity if I have a claim made against me?

Occasionally there will be media interest in a claim if the damages are likely to be significant or the case is already high-profile.

If this is the case, your claims handler will warn the DDU press office and they can advise you. If you are approached directly by a journalist, do not respond but contact the press office on 020 7202 1535/1504.
