Elective photo competition

Taken an elective photo you're proud of? Then why not enter our competition. You could win £80 worth of gift vouchers.

How to enter

Pick your favourite photo and email it to us with a brief description of the photo and location to photos@theddu.com. 

Prize

£80 worth of gift vouchers (choice of Amazon, John Lewis or M&S).

Judging

Our judging panel will pick a winner every two months. Winners will be notified by email and the competition results will be posted on the DDU Facebook page and DDU Twitter account. Winning entries may be used in MDU or DDU publications.

Guidelines

• The elective photo competition is open to DDU student members enrolled at a UK dental school.
• Please ensure the photo is under 5MB. 
• You can only submit one photo per judging period.
• Only entries submitted by email to photos@theddu.com will be accepted.
• Entries cannot contain patients or children under 16 years old.
• Please ensure you have the permission of all subjects in the photo before submitting your entry. You must confirm this in writing to us within your email entry.
• Entries must be your own work and appropriate for us to publish. They should not contain material which is in any way unlawful, obscene or defamatory or which infringes the rights of a third party.

Tips

• Try to capture the essence of the culture, people and environment around you. 
• Your photo may be memorable because it's funny, beautiful or unusual.
