Peninsula’s advice line provides DDU practice principles with access to expert legal advice on employment related issues. It includes:

Discounted HRFace2Face consultancy service

HRFace2Face is an impartial consultancy service with no contract involved that offers principal members access to discounted face to face assistance with employee employment law meetings. You can request and pay for this service when and where needed. It offers paralegal support2 to assist you with the legally compliant arrangements for inviting your employee to the meeting and attendance at your practice to conduct the meeting for you (or alongside you). Your consultant can conduct any necessary investigations and provide a written recommendation to bring a resolution to the matter.

The types of meetings where HRFace2Face could assist you include investigations; grievances; disciplinaries; capabilities; redundancy consultations; TUPE consultations; settlement meetings; and appeals.

Discounted employment law support service package

Principal members of the DDU can upgrade their access to free 24-hour employment law advice and purchase a discounted employment law package. It includes:

  • An employee management system - statement of terms and conditions, employee and management handbooks and stationery
  • BrightHR (an app to help manage holiday requests, log sickness and lateness on your phone)
  • a fortnightly electronic newsletter
  • optional insurance3 for employment tribunals, preparation and representation by Peninsula's in-house legal team.

Discounted Health and Safety package

Principal members of the DDU can look to Peninsula for support with preparing and installing a bespoke Health and Safety management system for your workplace. The discounted package includes:

You'll receive an initial workplace healthcare safety survey of your premises, followed by a further workplace healthcare safety survey for each additional two years the contract remains in force. You'll also be given a written report advising you on how to use best practice and achieve compliance with your legal obligations.
