Do I need a patient's consent to use their anonymised before-and-after pictures to promote my practice?

Yes. Even if the patient consented to pictures being taken during their treatment, they might not want their images used for a different purpose.

Fresh consent should be sought whether or not the patient can be identified, and you should record their response.
