Does a divorced father still have parental responsibility for their child?

Parents don't lose parental responsibility if they divorce, although it can be removed or restricted by a court. If you are in any doubt, ask to see proof of identity, and evidence of parental responsibility.

If the mother says parental responsibility has been removed by a court, you should ask for evidence of this.
