John Makin discussed the importance of local resolution of complaints and your role in achieving this and Leo Briggs provided an overview to the principles of dental ethics and law for dental professionals.

John and Leo answered your key dento-legal questions which ranged from, "Can I refuse to treat a patient if I feel I cannot meet their expectations?" to, "Is it better to involve my dental defence organisation if a patient complains or try to handle the issue myself?"
